UK Immigration, UK Work Permit and UK Visa Service
Coddan can offer help in all aspects of immigration. We have three ways to work permit categories that will count towards a future UK residency application they are as follows:
  1. An Employer sponsored UK work permit this will permit you to be able to work for an employer who can sponsor your work permit for up to 5 years. (prospective Employers can read more about a UK work permit on this website)
  2. A highly skilled migrant programme (HSMP), which will permit you to enter The UK before you actually find employment, this will also mean that you don’t actually need a UK employer to sponsor your work permit. It will allow you to work In the UK for any employer. ( By using our free assessment calculator you can work out your UK HSMP points).
  3. The working holidaymaker visa, this seems to be very popular with commonwealth members, It allows you to work in the UK for up to two years, though it does not count towards UK residency.

Coddan can offer the following services:

  • When it comes to bringing your family or dependents to join you in the UK we can assist you with this (see residency and naturalisation in the UK immigration section on this website).
  • A complete service for Business migration, which will include being able to relocate your business within the UK.
  • Business visit visas for the UK, and a range of other services to assist your plans.
  • Fully Up- to- date information on all UK work visas, work permits and immigration developments. The new points based immigration system 2007which has just been brought in will be simpler for HSMPs to be able to obtain visas in the future, and more difficult for all those who are less skilled.
  • Be able to award specific points on all potential immigrants based on the applicant’s age, financial situation, education, qualifications, English language ability, and other factors.
  • Require the applicants other than the most highly skilled to provide a certificate of sponsorship from an approved sponsor (e.g. an employer or a school)
  • Require would be sponsors to be able to make an application to sponsor a potential immigrant and be rated by the home office.

This new system will not be based on a linear ranking of attributes, more on weightings and trade-offs. For example, a B.A. with previously high earnings and a U.K. PLD with low previous earnings would equally earn enough points to apply. The government stands by what they say “that the system is objective” because it is clear on how many points will be awarded for a given attribute and at the same time it is also clear on how these attributes can be pooled to gain enough points to make an application.

The new points-based HSMP (Highly Skilled Migrants Programme) came about on the 5th December 2006. If you think you may qualify under this new scheme, we will be able to prepare your application for you. Additionally, there is currently a new low-skilled UK work permit category for the sectors-based visa.

Very soon there are likely to be further UK immigration changes coming soon that will let even more people gain entry into the UK. As a registered company Coddan-visa-work-permits.co.uk can put forward your UK visa application to the Home office to be dealt with on the same day, thus saving you time and trouble.

You can wait months for your UK visa application to come through from the home office immigration directorate, or worst still spend the whole day there, only to find that you may not have all the main documents.

We are CVAWP registered and therefore we can submit your UK visa application to the Home Office and have it dealt with on the same day.

Further more we will keep you well up to date with any new developments as regarding UK work visa, work permits and any UK immigration matters.
